Fuel fitting Straight 3/8-inch dia suit Holley-14-31-Redline
Straight Fuel Line fitting 3/8inch suits Holley carburettors. The fitting is constructed in alloy, being a softer metal, makes it an excellent for this application to ensure a positive seal against the carburettor seat. Redline Performance have engineered this fuel fitting to have a double flare to protect against stress cracking at the carburettor seat. A double flare is when the metal is doubled over before flaring to increase the thickness of the flare. Flaring thins the material and in the case of fuel lines it is important to ensure that vibration over time does not cause the joint to fail.
When choosing fuel components it is important for safety to check that the manufacturing has used a double flare rather than a single flare.
